About Heritage One Foundation
Heritage One Foundation is a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) dedicated to delivering measurable, sustainable impact through strategic partnerships. Our work is supported by for-profit ventures and strategic investments that ensure the longevity and scale of our mission. We co-create practical solutions with communities, grassroots leaders, and global experts, ensuring true development is achieved with the people, not just for them.
Core Mission
Our core mission is to deliver the 17 goals of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDG 2030), focusing on Education, Support Services and Poverty Reduction.
Goals
To develop/build local leaders and foster resilient communities ( SDG 11 & SDG 17) through:
- Empower women and youth (SDG 5
- Clean Water (SDG 6)
- Eradicate Poverty (SDG 1)
- Education & Training ( SDG 4)
- Climate (SDG 13)
Principles
Our work is guided by core values that ensure we always serve with purpose and transparency:
- Partnership (shared goals)
- Empowerment (capacity building)
- Accountability (transparency)
- Respect (culturalal intelligence)
- Equity (fairness and justice)
- Integrity (ethical conduct and honest reporting)
Partnerships
The power of our model lies in robust, adaptable multi-stakeholder collaboration with a global network. This ecosystem includes local authorities, academic institutions, multilateral partners (like UN observers), community leaders, and both the Public and Private Sectors who share expertise and leverage funding to uplift vulnerable populations.
Our Global Footprint: Building Bridges from the UK
Although based in the United Kingdom, our footprint extends across the Global South, connecting its diaspora. We operate with a global vision to strengthen legacy and impact between diaspora and homeland communities. We aim to implement a consistent framework that enables us to build, deliver, and scale practical solutions across underdeveloped and unserved regions. Our initial programmatic focus includes Sub-Saharan and West Africa, the Caribbean, and Indigenous communities in North and South America.
