About Heritage One Foundation
Heritage One Foundation is a UK-based charitable organisation dedicated to delivering measurable, sustainable impact through strategic partnerships. We co-create practical solutions with communities, grassroots leaders, and global experts, ensuring true development is achieved with the people, not just for them.
Core Mission
Our core mission is to deliver the 17 goals of the SDG focusing on Education, Support Services and Poverty Reduction.
Goal
Our work is driven by five core focus areas identified for their potential to create maximum positive change: Empowering youth and women; improving access to clean water and health services; eradicating poverty through education and training; responding to climate change and food insecurity; and building local leadership and community resilience.
Principles
We use a structured yet adaptive model focused on five key values that shape our strategy: Partnership (shared goals); Empowerment (capacity building); Accountability (transparency); Respect (cultural honour); and Equity (prioritizing the most vulnerable).
Partnerships
The power of our model lies in deep, multi-stakeholder collaboration with a global network. This ecosystem includes local authorities, academic institutions, multilateral partners (like UN observers), infrastructure companies, and community leaders who share expertise and leverage funding.
Our Global Footprint: Building Bridges from the UK
Although based in the United Kingdom, Heritage One operates with a global vision to strengthen legacy and impact between the diaspora and homeland communities. We aim to implement a consistent framework that enables us to build, deliver, and scale practical solutions across disadvantaged regions. Our initial programmatic focus includes Sub-Saharan and West Africa, the Caribbean, and Indigenous communities in North and South America.
